Talloires Bay. The perfect beauty.

Small bits of paradise are spread out around the world. Traveling brings you to find your own ones. And when that happens, you suddenly know that you have arrived, that you are in the right place.
How so good is the feeling of this perfect energy which surrounds you.  

I think lake Annecy is one of those places and Talloires, in particular, is a highly inspiring spot.

Leaving la Vallombreuse this morning. Climbing up the little path along my garden leading to the castle. Heading towards Ramponnet - Perroix - Saint-Germain. Running down to Talloires with stunning colors on the lake. Walking along the lake and beach up to Angon. Unfortunately the sun was hiding behind the clouds. Then climbing back up the steep path towards the Angon waterfalls in the woods and back home. A quite easy 3 hours walk with incredible views on the lake.

First day of snow near the lake.

Snow has been falling all night long. Only stoped for lunch time. Fascinating to see how it was so difficult to drive around this morning. People here should be used to it by now. It is maybe the beauty of it that we are looking at instead of the road!

Last colors of autumn.

Quite a lot of work in the garden this weekend collecting apples, grapes and packing the wood. We did our first fire in the chimney this morning for breakfast! Great time around the apple crumble I had made.

Journée de novembre à la Vallombreuse - Un dernier rayon de soleil - Au loin la pluie arrive - Les dernières fleurs du jardin vont embellir la maison. Il restera encore les pommes et le raisin à récolter.

"Goûter" time with my family. What a chance for my little grand son to grow up here. Learning how to walk, looking at the ducks swimming, a motor boat passing by and making big waves, a dog barking at the waves, little pebbles to catch, nice red cheeks in the wind...
